2005 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom XL1200C

10,500 miles

Hooker Troublemaker Pipes look and sound awesome. These were $700 new for just the pipes not installed! I get lots of comments on these.
Screaming Eagle intake and jet kit.
Aftermarket foot pegs (I have matching pegs for passenger and shifter, just haven't installed)
New HD battery summer 2011

I have all original parts.

This bike runs great and I've never had a problem with it. No leaks. It's easy to ride, light, and nimble like most sportys. Snappy throttle with plenty of power. This carbureted 1200 with Hooker pipes sounds like a Harley is supposed to. My 96 inch EFI bike has a nice rumble, but not the raspy, raw idle of a carbed Harley. I think it sounds perfect, but if it's too loud for you there is a "Quiet Cartridge" you can buy from Hooker, or I have the factory exhaust as well.

All service work done at HD recommended intervals with HD parts and HD synthetic oil. Just had 10k mile service completed a couple weeks ago. It's always run on premium fuel. Bike is turnkey and ready to ride.

I'm the second owner. I purchased it in 2006 with 500 miles on it. Always adult owned and ridden, never been down. Always garaged.

If you are shopping Sportsters for the first time you may have noticed there are several models. This is a "1200 Custom" which is 1200cc engine with some extra trim...and of course Harley charged more for these new. Forward controls, black engine with machined fins, chrome covers, wide 4 gallon tank, wire spoke wheel in front, solid vented wheel in back, etc.

May consider working out a trade for your pontoon boat.

I hate to sound negative, but I want to be up front with this. There will be no joy rides. If you are serious and ready to buy we can work that out. You drop it, you bought it. Also, please don't waste your time or mine if you don't have the money, don't call.

For new riders if you don't feel comfortable riding it home I'd be happy to assist.
